Career of quality technician may include work in different environments. The skills of quality technician are needed in a wide range of industries, from healthcare facilities to preparation and packaging of food. While the settings may vary significantly, the basic work duties remain essentially the same. Common work duties include control of products for quality, performing tests for products, maintaining test equipment, training staff to produce and collect data for implementation in improvement of the product. Regardless of which industry the individual is part, will inevitably responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
