What Is a Federal Paralegal?
Also known as the "Public Lawyer Office". An institution of the Yugoslav socio-political community. After 1952, it was established in the federal, republics, autonomous provinces, regions, districts and military systems. Independently perform duties in accordance with the law or according to the power of attorney, take appropriate measures and protect the property rights and interests of the socio-political community through legal remedies. The Federal Public Lawyers' Office represents the Federation and its agencies and federal funding agencies, and, when commissioned by a working organization in the country, can represent those organizations in foreign courts. The military attorney's office works in specific military units and military agencies, and the highest person in charge of all agencies is the chief military lawyer of the Yugoslav People's Army. Public lawyers and their assistants at all levels are appointed by socio-political community meetings at all levels. Public lawyers and their assistants at the federal level have a term of 4 years and local terms of 8 years. Anyone who has graduated from the Yugoslav citizenship law major, passed the judicial examination, and meets the requirements for admission may be appointed. [1]
