What is an architect license?

The architect's license is a professional accreditation that allows the architect to work in a certain jurisdiction. Most of the time is licensed at the local or semi-blocked level. Countries, states and provinces usually have compulsory licenses specifications, although sometimes cities and regions. In all cases, the architect's license serves as a way to set some basic standards of education and training for professionals in the architectural field.
