What is senioritis?

Strange thing often happens during the senior year of high school or university student. The excitement of the opening of a new career or a higher educational path can overcome the routine reality of school life, so even the most interesting graduation rituals seem less and less attractive. This general feeling of apathy or malaise is informally known to students and faculties such as senioritis . Seniortis can intervene at any time during the student's higher year, but generally appears in the last months of the second semester. Until then, many seniors have already been admitted to universities or have solid prospects for a career position at a basic level. Everything that stands between graduating from seniors and a new chapter in life is paperwork and ritual. Trutid suffering from seniors often become apathetic to school activities such as sports, extracurricular clubs and performance -oriented class. Faculty members may try to face senioritis by allocating large projects at the end of the semester or creating a classroomí games or talent. However, the results can be variable. Students with severe senioritis can simply be a time to graduation, which is not good for instructors.

Another effect of senionitis is a more expensive attitude to participation in the classroom. It is not unusual to enter the so -called "Mickey Mouse" courses, optional with minimal requirements and a small influence on the overall level of the student. Others with senioritis may decide that the school's virtue policy does not apply to a student with just weeks before promo. As long as the Senior has completed the required courses to get a diploma, several optional courses have failed due to excessinepiament should not be the main problem. However, some universities have exercised the right to cancel offers to students who will demonstrate the educational discipline as seniors during their last semester.

Not every senior is experiencing a seniorITIDU in its most interesting form, but many feel the bittersweet to their last days as students. For some of the idea that we do not regularly see our friends, it causes feelings of depression or nostalgia. Others see the last days of their higher years as an opportunity to settle accounts before leaving their hometown for distant campuses or career. Seniortis can trigger some unexpected emotions because students are preparing to close one chapter in their lives and open a new one without the well -known environment of the school building that lead them.
