- (1) Those with postgraduate qualifications apply for a degree in clinical medicine
- 1. The current graduate students in clinical medicine adopt the method of "continuous training in stages, mid-term assessment and screening, selection of merit into the second stage, and direct study for a doctoral degree". Those who have completed the first and second stages of training can apply for a doctoral degree in clinical medicine; those who have completed the first stage of training but have not advanced to the second stage can apply for a master's degree in clinical medicine after one year of clinical work practice.
- 2. Those who have obtained a master's degree in clinical medicine through postgraduate training, have been engaged in clinical work in the corresponding specialty for more than three years after obtaining the degree, and have been assessed by the degree awarding unit, and believe that their clinical work ability has reached the level required to confer a professional degree in clinical medicine. It is acceptable to apply for a doctoral degree in clinical medicine on the job. Applicants may be exempted from submitting standardized training certificates for residents, and other materials to be submitted are the same as the relevant provisions in Article 4 (3).

- 2. Applicants must apply for a unified national examination for the master's degree in foreign language courses through in-service personnel with the same academic ability as graduate students. - Applicants must pass the degree course examination, clinical ability assessment, and defense of the dissertation. The degree appraisal committee of the degree-granting unit shall review and approve the award of professional degrees.
