Mechanical Engineers

Applicants applying for certification of mechanical engineers must have good professional conduct, observe ethical standards, and provide the following valid documents:

University graduation certificate;

In addition to meeting the requirements for mechanical engineer certification, professional engineers applying for certification need to obtain a professional engineer qualification examination certificate and have more than 2 years of relevant professional work practice.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

To apply for certification as a senior mechanical engineer, the applicant must have a good code of professional conduct and provide the following valid documents:

Undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree certificate in mechanical engineering;

Certificate of Foreign Language Level 6;

Computer Application Technology Certificate (NIT) or Computer Level Examination Pass Certificate;

Certificate of Mechanical Engineer of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society;

The actual professional work experience is more than 7 years (non-mechanical needs more than 10 years), of which more than 2 years have undertaken important engineering project experience, and provide a work summary report and detailed description of important project experience (required by the unit leader to sign an opinion and Official seal certification);

Outstanding Mechanical Engineer

To apply for certification of Distinguished Mechanical Engineer, those who meet one of the following conditions may apply for certification of Distinguished Mechanical Engineer:

Mechanical engineering experts with outstanding contributions;

Outstanding entrepreneurs in the machinery industry. Applicants need to work for more than 15 years and must be recommended by relevant industry organizations. All the applicants for the above qualifications must be members of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

The examination center of the Ministry of Education has stopped taking the qualification examination for mechanical engineers.
