Are bruises dangerous?

There is no doubt that life without bruises is noticeably better than life with bruises, but most bruises are not considered particularly dangerous. However, this does not mean that serious bruises cannot lead to other complications such as blood clots, nerve damage and mobility loss. These complications can be much more dangerous than bruises themselves, but rarely life -threatening. When these blood vessels open, blood begins to pour into the surrounding tissue. These blood pools under the skin and initially look dark purple or dark red. The pain associated with bruises is caused by damaged nerves in the bruises and blood pressure as it connects. This pain can be treated with over -the -counter anti -inflammatory drugs, often called non -steroidal anti -inflammatory drugs.

In a bruised area, blood clots may form, but because the clotted blood is not in actual circulation, the chances of stroke or heart attack are very small. Blood clots have nowhere to go and no way to get there so they tend toStat in blood pools, which we consider to be bruises. Finally, the body absorbs blood and bruises should reduce the size and level of pain. Any blood clots that could have formed should also be naturally dissolved and absorbed. There are cases where blood clots can create excessive calcium accumulation and deposits may be necessary surgically or through prescription drugs.

The most dangerous place for bruising is possible head and neck area. The head injury tends to bleed severely due to the abundance of blood vessels. The injury of the skull of the dull force could create a serious form of bruise called hematoma. Hematoma can be very susceptible to the clot blod and other complications associated with internal bleeding.

as bad as bruises may seem, especially during the first few hours after the trauma, should recover in time. Tissue -filled tissue pressure can sometimes affect or damage the nerves in the local area, and those damaged nerves may prevent muscle movementat. If bruises are close to large joints, mobility can be temporarily affected until swelling and pressure reduce. If the bruise does not seem to be recovered in a reasonable time, the injury may need to be examined or re -examined by a medical worker.
