What are mini prostheses?
Mini prostheses are devices used to anchor lower prostheses or false teeth, safely into the lower jaw. These dental implants are small, protruding, titanium screws set in the lower jaw that click on the corresponding socket on the bottom of the lower prosthesis. The screws strongly anchor the lower prosthesis to the jaw, but the prostheses are easy to release when they need to be removed. Installing mini prostheses is relatively simple and requires about an hour. Mini prostheses are installed when the lower prostheses often float without the lower jaw, causing problems with food and speaking.
To install mini prostheses, the patient is given to the patient to anestrate the lower jaw, or if dental procedures cause extreme anxiety, the patient may be given during the procedure. A small hole is produced in the rubber and the mini bolt of the prosthesis then passes through the rubber and screws down into the jaw bone. The tip is left protruding from the top of the rubber. Additional drawers are attaching to the bottom of the old lower prosthesis or on the newOU lower prosthesis, so the bolts in the gums match and perfectly insert the lower prosthesis. The patient will then either be recommended to try a new prosthetic device in a few hours, or be asked to wait until the next day.
usually does not exist any pain during the procedure as soon as the anesthesia occurs. The installation of a mini prosthesis takes about one hour and as soon as the procedure is completed, most patients do not need any other painkillers. Dental implants do not require extensive maintenance, they need to be checked regularly. Occasionally it is necessary to replace the screw, socket or O-ring that connects the screw into the socket. The chances of loosening the screw or socket of the prosthesis depend on the health of the lower jaw and rubber and the frequency with which you are removed and inserted.
Almost every bearer of a prosthesis suffering from a slip or floating lower prosthesis can use these mini prostheses. The only requirementsThey are a healthy lower rubber and enough jaw that anchor the screws. Surprisingly, however, only a small amount of jaw is required to secure screws. When the rubber is unhealthy, the procedure can be delayed and can be taken by measures to try to improve the health of the rubber to allow these implants to allow later. Mini prostheses are not installed on the upper jaw, because the prostheses for the upper jaw do not exceed so much and the upper jaw is much narrower and does not support the current screws.
