What are the different types of the grip dynamometer?

The dynamometer of the hand is a tool used to measure the strength and ability of a man's hand. Although styles and manufacturers differ, there are three basic types of dynamometer, namely hydraulic dynamometer meter, pneumatic dynamometer and myogrip dynamometer. Each of these dynamometers is used primarily in the medical industry to help in the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with regard to the movement and strength of the hands. This tool generally has a curved metal or plastic handle that one holds in hand and presses. The handle itself does not normally move, but the hydraulic mechanism measures the pressure exerted by adhesion, which is then displayed on the meter located on the top of the instrument. Some models do not use the meter, but instead have a digital display. The Jamar Grip dynamometer is considered to be one of the most accurate and reliable models in the field.

Another type of dynamometer is known as a pneumatic dynamometr. This type of dynamometer of adhesion uses a rubber ball at the end of the tube. The patient presses the ball and the force is then measured by measurement at the other end of the tube. There are models that also use digital displays for this type of dynamometer. The most commonly used pneumatic dynamometer is called Vigortimeter Martin and relies on many healthcare facilities for easy use and accuracy.

The myogrip dynamometer is a type of dynamometer of adhesion that uses a breakup. This type of dynamometer is less than Jamar or Martin Vigorimeter. It is also much more sensitive and used primarily in patients who are fragile, weak or otherwise have a very poor strength of adhesion.
