What is the brain aneurysm?

brain aneurysm is the swelling of one of the blood vessels in the brain. While the swelling itself is not necessarily dangerous, aneurysm can burst, leading to a hemorrhagic stroke. Aneurysm can also contribute to the development of blood clots that can travel to the brain and cause damage. For these reasons, aneurysms on the brain are considered to be serious concerns of medical experts and can be taken steps to treat aneurysm in the brain before it has a chance to burst or contribute to clotting in the brain.

Aneurysm is generally simply swelling of the blood leaders. They can be caused by various things, from congenital weakness in the wall of blood vessels that cause it to bulge, to the health condition that weakens the walls of the blood vessels or exert pressure on them, causing it to swell. Aneurysm often does not detect until it loses, because swelling usually does not cause symptoms. Aneurysms are common both Aorta and Brain to find in other areas of the body.

The most common place for brain aneurysm is a bundle of large arteries at the base of the brain in the area known as the Circle of Willis. While swelling is small, the patient does not experience symptoms. As it grows, some neurological problems such as headaches and vomiting could occur, and if the aneurysm runs, the patient develops symptoms of stroke, suggesting that bleeding occurs in the brain.

This type of aneurysm is sometimes also known as brain or intracranial aneurysm. Brain aneurysm can be diagnosed with medical imaging studies in which the vascular system in the brain is examined. Such a study may be ordered if the patient is at risk, as in the case of families with hereditary aneurysm, or if the patient proves symptoms that could indicate a problem in the brain.

Once identified, the cerebral aneurysm can be left in place or treated, depending on the location, size and degree of risk. One treatment, endovascular embolizacE, also known as the wind, involves inserting a twisted wire into aneurysm, forcing it to knock and thus eliminate it. There is also an option. Cropping is much more invasive, but also more reliable for the elimination of brain aneurysm.
