What is the primary lesion?
The primary lesion is a change in the skin caused by a certain disease or infection. There are several different types, including macule, papule, vesicle, plaque, bull, patch, tumor, Wheal, knot and pustle. These are not specific to one disease and are not always considered a primary lesion. The changes that occur in these types of lesions are known as secondary lesions.
Macules are small areas of the skin that have changed color. They cannot be felt, just to see them. Repair is a primary lesion that is similar to macula but occupies a larger area of the skin. Turns are generally greater than one cm, while the macul is usually less than one cm. The papules are solid, have shape and are often accompanied by the properties of secondary lesions such as scaling and crusts. This type of primary lesion has an increased limit around it. Vesicles and Bullae are not solid and FIS are pure liquid.
tumors are generally greater than two cm. These lesions are solid and are made of subcutaneous tissue or leather. They can also be malignant. The knot is belowIts a tumor, but smaller. It can be composed of leather, subcutaneous tissue or dermis.
pustules are increased primary lesions that have pus. They contain infection many times, but not in some cases. They are small and generally do not grow greater than one cm.
Plaque is an increased solid lesion that is usually greater than one centimeter around. Wheat is sometimes similar to plaques, but there may also be similar papules. The pile has boundaries around it and often has a center that is very pale.
Another kind of primary lesion is called a lair. This applies to tunnels under the skin, usually due to some type of parasite. These tunnels appear as direct lesions on the upper part of the skin. It is most commonly seen in scabies.
primary lesion is generally not associated with one specific disease. Many times different diseases will produce the same type of basic lesion. Identification of primary lesion and its cause is usually the firstThe step the doctor does in the treatment or treatment of the disease.
