What is periorbital cellulite?

Periorbital cellulite is an infection of the skin surrounding the eye area. This is usually due to internal bacterial infection, such as pink eye or sinus infection that spreads to outer skin. Most people affected by periorbital cellulite are children. This can be a dangerous condition due to certain complications, and doctors have usually been hospitalized by children who are diagnosed with it.
