What is cracked aneurysm?

Aneurysm is a artery wall that extends or balloons, thus thinning the blood vessel. Torn aneurysm occurs when the wall breaks down, causing bleeding. Ruptorated aneurysms are most common in the brain, aorta and leg, although aneurysm - and rupture - can occur anywhere in the body. The rate of mortality of the cracked aneurysm depends on the position of the aneurysm, the extent of the rupture and how quickly it is treated. There are many warning signals of the onset of cracked aneurysms. High blood pressure, trauma or tumors can also cause brain aneurysm. People with brain aneurysmus are exposed to a higher risk of rupture if they have high blood pressure, smoke or alcohol or drug abuse again. The position of the aneurysm in the brain and size may also affect the risk of rupture.

Rupted aneurysm in the brain escapes blood into the surrounding tissue. And ruptured brain aneurysm also often causes bleeding between the brain and the skull known as subarachnoid bleeding. This can lead to serious brain damage, paralysis or death. According to some medical authorities, 40 percent of people with cracked brain aneurysm dies within 24 hours and another 25 percent will die of complications within six months of rupture.

aortic aneurysm occurs in the main artery leading from the heart. Torn aneurysm in the aortic artery is a critical medical problem that requires immediate treatment. Delaying of rupture treatment causes massive blood leak into the body and causes death within minutes or hours.

about 75 percent of the aortic aneurysms and rupture occurs in the abdomen, while 25% occurs in the thoracic region. Risk factors for cracked aortic aneurysms include high blood pressure, connective tissue disorders and previous trauma. Men and older people also experience aortic aneurysm and rupture more often. According to medical experts, less than 40 percent of people will survive the aortic abdominal aneurysm.

Rupt'sAneurysm can also occur in the arteries of the legs, especially behind the knee. Although the cracked leg aneurysm can lead to bleeding, this condition is not as serious as brain or aortic aneurysms. The survival rate is high when the rupture is treated surgically.

Warning symptoms impending cracked aneurysms in the brain may include extreme headaches, vomiting, stiff neck or loss of consciousness. Symptoms of rupture aortic aneurysms include severe, sudden abdominal pain, chest and back, shock and loss of consciousness. Rupted aneurysms in other places can be accompanied by sudden, severe and located pain, numbness or loss of circulation.
