What is the serous adenom?

Adenoma is a non -ski growth or benign tumor that develops from cells in glandular tissue. This glandular origin means that the tumor can arise from serous cells that would normally exclude watery fluid or mucinous cells that would produce mucus. Serous adenoma usually develops from serous cells in an organ such as pancreas or ovaries. Serous adenomas of pancreatic are rare and may contain fluid spaces or cysts, in which case they are usually known as cystadenomas. Cystadenomas, which may be serous or mucinous, also evolve in the ovaries and in several cases the serous adenoma found in the pancreas or ovaries is a solid tumor. These types of growth are most common in women aged 40 to 60 years and may not cause any symptoms or complications of health. When symptoms occur, they may include lower back or abdomen, swelling in the abdomen or increased need to urinate. Serous adenoma can cause the ovaries to circle around and reduce blood supply, in tAK's case would experience more serious pain. Occasionally, cystic tumors can break or bleed.

In the pancreas, serous adenoma is usually benign, unlike mucinous tumors that can be benign or cancerous. Serous cystadenomas occur more often than mucinous tumors, but may be difficult to distinguish between two ultrasonic scanning, so that CT or computed tomography and MRI or magnetic resonance can also be required. The cell sample can be pulled out of the tumor by means of a fine needle and studied microscopically to confirm the diagnosis. Symptoms associated with pancreatic serous cystadenomas may include abdominal pain and pancreatitis attacks or pancreatitis.

Although serous adenoma is usually benign, it is possible in rare cases where some tumors transform and become malignant. The treatment of serous adenoma will vary depending on the place. TumorThe pancreas that causes symptoms can be surgically mastered and laparoscopic or keyhole can be used in some cases surgical techniques. In the ovary tumor, the adenoma can be removed together with the ovary using a keyhole or conventional surgery. When a tumor that is accidentally discovered during another investigation does not cause any problems and is identified as benign, it can best be left alone.
