What Is an Anal Stenosis?
Anal stenosis is a condition in which the diameter of the anus and anal canal becomes smaller, which can cause difficulty in passing stool, thinning of stool characteristics, and pain in the anus during defecation. Anal stenosis
- Anal stenosis is a condition in which the diameter of the anus and anal canal becomes smaller, which can cause difficulty in passing stool, thinning of stool characteristics, and anus during defecation
- Congenital anal stenosis is a congenital malformation of the anus. Acquired anal stenosis is mostly caused by inflammation of the anus.
- Anal stenosis is mostly caused by congenital deficiency and trauma. There are many causes of anal stenosis , mainly in the following aspects:

- Patients with mild stenosis, difficulty in stool, abdominal distension, bowel movements, or constipation are classified as having poor ventilation, dry and hot intestines, and should be treated with wide bowel and qi. Light tongue, white fur, pulse count, use anal scattered powder; such as constipation, intestinal dryness and less, dry mouth, red tongue, thin yellow fur, pulse count, give Ma Ren Wan.
- 2. Foreign law

It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks and the effect is good.
- 3 Surgical treatment
- (1) Anal expansion: Applicable to mild anal or anal canal stenosis. The patient should be placed in the lateral position or lithotomy position. Local routine disinfection, anesthesia infiltration around the anus, on the midline after the anus, cut the skin and part of the anal canal. The sphincter expands the anus and can smoothly pass the index finger. Cover the vaseline gauze with sterile gauze.
- (2) Radiation incision scar release: suitable for mild and moderate stenosis of the anus and anal canal.
- The most important thing in the treatment of anal stenosis is prevention, including avoiding excessive damage to the skin, mucous membranes and sphincter to ensure the normal volume of the anal canal after surgery.
