What is EMT?
Emergency doctor (EMT) is a trained expert who responds to emergency medical situations such as car accidents, fires or injuries that occur in households or workplaces. Many of them assume that all people in this profession are rescuers, but it is not. They are classified at the level, depending on their training level. Only EMT 4 is considered rescuers.
EMT 1 are often the first techniques to arrive at the scene of the accident. They were trained in basic CPR and first aid. Practically all firefighters and police officers have at least level 1 training. Since firefighters are generally the first to arrive at the scene of the accident, such training is necessary to assess the situation and the invitation of further help. This is generally accessible only in small towns and depends mainly on the cooperation of local firefighters. This application is submitted because EMT 1 may not be able to adequately solve the needs of someone with medical emergency. Time can be vital and instantlyEMT may be needed with further training.
When an ambulance arrives, it is generally employed with at least one person with EMT 4 training. The second ambulance driver can be classified as level 2 or 3. Sometimes the ambulances are served with two rescuers, depending on the availability and nature of the emergency.
EMT 2 or 3 training is considered medium. These technicians can use defibrillators to help shock the heart back to the normal sinus rhythm. They can insert catheters to provide the patient with intravenous fluid. They also perform CPR and evaluate victims for any trauma to the body. EMT 2 or 3 technicians can place patients underneath on the trauma of the head or neck on the back plate and transport. Their assessment of patients is valuable when patients are transferred to hospitals.
Experts with level 4 classification are rescuers. In addition to being able to provide the above services, they mayRescuers to perform some relatively complex medical procedures in the field. They can give them drugs to relieve pain or help someone with heart problems. They can also perform emergency tracheotomy or intubation to help restore normal breathing. Information from the EMT 4 evaluation helps the hospital to prepare for the treatment of anyone with severe injuries or illness.
All EMT require training. Most emergency workers in any field hold EMT 1 status and training can be included in their education in other fields. People with classification 2, 3 and 4 usually go to school and get at least an associated title in the applied science. Some rescuers further study it to get a bachelor's degree.
EMT is not rewarded for their employment, which should offer reward for danger in justice. The highest salaries for most EMT are relatively low. Firefighters and police officers are often more appropriately compensated. May be required to respond to emergency events that carry velRisks such as transporting people with serious and contagious diseases or picking up injured people in dangerous neighborhoods.
If possible, firefighters and police officers are trying to eliminate elements of danger before EMT arrival. However, this is not always possible, and therefore the work includes a regular risk for health and livelihood.
