In such cases, the elimination of human waste is taken into account through ostomy. Usually the end of a hole is called a stoma on the wall of the abdomen. The term ostomy can also be used as an extension to describe which part of the body was performed by surgery. For example, ostomy can be used to treat surgical wounds or injuries to the colon. The thickness of the large intestine is a place where the waste products are stored before removal and injury to the large intestine could be contaminated with a stool. The urethra is attached to this stoma, allowing urine to circumvent the bladder and leak from the body. Ileostomy is a hole leading since the last part of the small intestine to the stoma. In this case, the stoma is usually located to the right of the belly button.

stomas colostomes are often on the left side of the abdomen buttons, but sometimes they can be on the right. When on the left side, and the trap of waste is required a bag. If the stoma on the right side, only a pad is usually required. Sometimes two stomas are needed in colostomy. In such casesOne stoma eliminates waste while the other eliminates mucus.
