What Is Balloon Endoscopy?
Endoscopic dilatation refers to a treatment method in which the guide wire is drawn out under endoscope or the endoscope is used to expand the dilator to achieve dilation of the narrow alimentary canal. It is mainly used for the treatment of esophageal, gastric, intestinal and biliary strictures, including two methods of expansion of probe strips and balloon dilation. Depending on the patient's condition, elective surgery or palliative surgery can be performed (applicable to patients with advanced tumors that cannot be removed).
