What is the rest?
Post rest is a form of medically prescribed treatment to reduce activity. It is sometimes used when acute pain is in the spine or joints. Back pain is the most common area of injury that results in this type of order. Women with existing conditions such as diabetes or autoimmune disorder are more likely to be more likely to be limited to bed during pregnancy. Women aged over 35 are considered a higher risk and therefore have an increased chance of some form of rest in bed. This is when the cervix is weak, which may lead to premature birth or in some cases abortion. Premature birth or timely contraction is another reason why your doctor can give this serial bed. In this condition, there is an excessive amount of toxins in the urine that can damage the mother and the child if they are not treated.
This form of treatment is ordered when the health and welfare of the child and mother may be at risk. The doctor may prescribe this procedure for many other conditions or problems that are not listed here. For example, many mothers carrying multiples will also have to adapt to the restriction on the bed.
There are four types of bed rest. The planned rest is when activities such as step, walking or position can be limited. There may also be a certain amount of time to devote to lying daily. Modified rest is when activities are still limited, but rest time can be spent by lying or sitting.
Strict rest in bed means that the activities are delighted with spring, except for the bathroom breaks and a short bathing period. This treatment requires most of the time to have to be spent by lying. On the other hand, rest in the hospital bed means that the mother and the child need constant monitoring. This form of rest therefore requires an extended stay inthe hospital.
Some problems may occur when adherence to rest commands. When the muscles decrease and there may be a general reduction in circulation. However, it is prescribed when the benefits outweigh the risks.
Post rest reduces the tension to the heart and increases blood flow to the kidneys for better liquid removal. It also increases the circulation into the uterus and gives the child more nutrients and at the same time reduces the pressure on the uterus. Resting can also reduce stress levels, which in turn lowers stress hormone levels, which can cause contraction.
