What are the scabies of the genital?
Genital scabies is the condition of the skin caused by a mite that throws itself under the skin. It is characterized by intense itching and puffs. The condition can be closed by sexual and non -sexual contact.
scabies can occur almost anywhere on the body, but when it occurs in a private area, it is called genital scabies. Sarcoptes Scabiei, insects similar to scabies, burrows under the skin and lay eggs. Burrowing causes an allergic reaction, resulting in bumps, blisters and intense itching in the genitals. Symptoms of the condition may not occur up to six weeks.
Another characteristic of scabies is its highly contagious nature. In particular, the genital scabies can be spread by non -sexual contact on the skin and sometimes through sharing clothes or other objects with someone who has a condition. When sexual contact is repaired by sexual contact, a sexually transmitted disease (STD) or sexually transmission infectiveon (STI) is considered to be a sexually transmitted disease. Young adults often contracting the scabies of genitalia through sexual transmission.
Treatment of genital scabies is usually the same as treating the condition elsewhere on the body. Doctors prescribe a special chemical cream that kills a mite after several applications, although itching can continue for several weeks. The cream must often be applied throughout the body from the throat down in case the mites affect more than one area of the body. Instead, some patients are taking oral medicines, especially those who have threatened immune systems or whose scabies have become cruelty and thus more contagious and difficult to heal.
As with other types, doctors recommend that patients with genital scabies eliminate any scabies or eggs in the patient's house. Patients are usually instructed to either clean or wash and dry all clothes and laundry with detergent and high heat. Doctors may also indicate that the patient's sexual partners also treat, although partners show no signs of condition. CondoWe and other barrier methods do not always prevent scabies, because mites and eggs may exist in areas where these devices do not cover. Restricting sexual partners reduces the likelihood of closing scabies as STD or STI.
Many skin and STD states have symptoms that are similar to those associated with genital scabies. Doctors recommend that patients with symptoms look for professional attention to ensure adequate treatment and reduce complications caused by scabies or other conditions. The genital scabies cannot be eliminated by home or over -the -counter treatment.
