Hemorrhoid thrombosis occurs when hemorrhoid forms a blood clot. This leads to the fact that the hemorrhoid has become an inflamed, tender, red or blue and feels or looks hard. Hemorrhoid thrombosis may occur in internal or external hemorrhoids, although they usually occur more in external hemorrhoids. They can often be itchy and painful and cause stool bleeding and to wipe the area with toilet paper.

The causes of hemorrhoids are many. This may be due to pregnancy, age, excessive sessions, lack of exercise or low fiber diet. Other causes may include stresses when taking over the bowel movement, lifting weights and genetics. The cause of hemorrhoid thrombosis is often the same as what causes ahemoroid and any activity that causes a lack of blood flow to the HemoroiDu, they can cause a problem.

Hemorrhoid thrombosis often disappears on its own. After a few weeks, the clot dissolves and the normal blood flow is returned. If this is not the case, surgery may be required. Sometimes simply stopping an activity that caused a problem, such as sitting for a longer period of time or stop lifting weights can solve the problem.

You can perform another simple treatment to help with hemorrhoid thrombosis. Soaking in a shallow bath of hot water, known as a bath SITZ and the use of creams with hydrocortisone, can help alleviate the symptoms of thrombosis and help with blood flow. If these or other corrective measures do not work to reduce thrombosis, the next step is surgery.

There are several surgical procedures that are performed for hemorrhoid thrombosis. The simplest and fastest is to drain the thrombosis by making excision in it. But this is not the best longA puffy solution, because hemorrhoid and accompanying thrombosis can easily return.

Another common procedure is tubal ligation. This consists of binding a solid rubber zone around the two ends of thrombosis. It cuts off the blood supply to the hemorrhoid and causes it to shrink and die. This is not commonly used for thrombosis, but is more effective than mere cutting.

The most effective procedure of hemorrhoid thrombosis is complete surgical removal of the problem in the so -called full hemorrhoidectomy. Anesthesia is injected into the area and thrombosis and the blood vessel is removed. The problem may still return, but this procedure is considered the most effective.
