What is a sharp job?

While work and van can take a long time, some women have what is called sharp work. This is when the overall time between the beginning of work and birth is three hours or less. It is not so common, but under certain circumstances it can happen and has a unique set of problems that should be managed carefully. One contraction tends to directly monitor the other without a time interval. If you are at home and your contractions occur quickly without breaks between them, you can proceed at work faster than most people. If you are a distance from the hospital, this form of contractions is a sign of call 911 because you can deliver without medical assistance before you get to the hospital.

Some women seem to be multi -scared than others to work. It can be easier to occur in women with Pelvises rooms and is more likely to occur in women who had more than one previous childE. A woman who had a sharp work with past pregnancy is also at a greater risk of having it again, and sometimes smaller children in an ideal position, simply come faster. One of the risk factor you can control is drug use: the use of cocaine during pregnancy can cause this type of work and it goes without saying that illegal drug use during pregnancy is extremely dangerous. Other times, when women are given Pitocin to trigger work, they create a sharp job, even if it is still rare.

Although it might seem ideal for women who had long work to get the work and supply quickly, intolerance was not ideal for a mother or child. Pain is intense and mothers may not have access to painkillers because of the speed at work. There is a greater risk of tears, uterine bleeding, bleeding and low oxygen levels for mom and child.

Pruss work can also lead to fetal anxiety and some children may have head injuries, soThat they pass through the birth canal so quickly. In rare cases, this rapid passage can lead to pneumothorax where the lungs collapse. If possible, this form of work is best managed in a hospital environment where doctors are at hand to help treat a desperate child or mother with complications.

From an emotional point of view, it can be exceptionally difficult for mothers. There is no way to describe the intense pain that workers can have, and what is particularly demanding is that little to alleviate pain. Usually, any methods of childbirth that they learn will not succeed and many forms of pain relief are contraindicated. Mothers may feel very disappointed in a fast and scary birth experience, and this could potentially cause Blues or Contribute to postnatal depression.

In certain circumstances, doctors decide to make a caesarean section to quickly stop the clothed work. Not all doctors agree on this step. Many childrenis born healthy and well, despite this quick work and section C, can be an increase in the risk for both mother and child.
