What is Beck anxious inventory®?

Beck Hearty Inventory® is a short test that a person can take individually or managed by a mental health expert, measuring an anxiety level by a simple scale. This test is the invention of Dr. Aaron Beck, who is well known for his contributions to cognitive psychology and the development of several respected tests for various disorders. In particular, an inventory or scale can be used to assess the level of anxiety in the last week or month, and is sometimes used to diagnose post-traumatic stress disorders, phobia or obsessive-compulsive disorders. Some clinic doctors consider it useful when trying to distinguish between the symptoms of anxiety and depression, although people can both have both at the same time, which means that the test would not be the only diagnostic tool used.

Simplicity and ease of use is characterized by Beck Hearty Inventory®. The test is short: only 21 questions. Each question has four potential scalated answers, which are gradually given a higher rating from zero to three. ODisplay three on any question suggests greater anxiety. For example, if a person has been experiencing cold sweatings in the last week, they answered three when they asked, which could be defined as "it bothers me a lot" or "seriously". Symptoms expressed less frequently, can earn two or one and the absence of symptoms would be evaluated zero.

After the client has completed the Beck Anxieta Inventory® test, the results are scaled and the minimum points correspond to a lower anxiety level. People with higher points can show anxiety disorders or some other above conditions. Although there are clearly defined groups of numbers corresponding to potential anxiety problems, there may be some gray areas in reading scale, especially because individuals do not always pay exactly to their symptoms. People who use the version of the online test would also be recommended to look for instructions for mental healthOne hundred to rely on self -visualization, even if they do not bring exceptionally high scores.

Due to general knowledge, it can still help find out how the Beck is usually interpreted. Severe anxiety is usually diagnosed with a score of 26-63. Slight anxiety is considered to be anything between the score of 16-25. People may have a slight anxiety if they bring a score of 8-15, or the absence of anxiety if the score between 0-7.

Currently, if doctors want to use Beck Anxiety Inventory®, they buy copies of the copyright test from companies like Pearson®, where it is available with other materials that can help interpret the test. There are many copies of the test on the Internet, but technically Pearson® holds copyright. Some clinic doctors simply use them freely for copying, because the score is relatively easy to interpret, although it can violate copyrights.
