Why is hair loss more common in men than women?

Hair loss can be as common in women as in men, but it is not so noticeable because it becomes men and women in a very different way. Men lose more hair volume due to androgenic alopecia or baldness of the male pattern. Where men have apparent bald places, women lose their hair gently and often have only hair that feels and look a little thinner everywhere. Different places of enzyme and hormone receptor are the differences in the pattern between men and women. Some women have a genetic predisposition to hair loss because a large amount of testosterone in their systems reacts with hair cell enzymes to form thinning hair. Alopecia or baldness leads when a normal human hair growth pattern is outside balance. The normal hair growth pattern grows, resting, and relaxation, and if the hair growth pattern is off balance, the hair is not registered as quickly as it gets rid of. White are more susceptible to the baldness of the male pattern than the Japanese. Black is likely to experience more hair loss than white.

Many women do not realize their hair loss until they feel their thinning hair when they put their hair in a braid or braid. The differences in men's and female hairstyles can also make men more noticeable. Sometimes excessive hair processing can cause hair thinning such as bleaching, coloring or using strong shampoos. Hormones during aging and menopause can cause female hair to thin. High amounts of vitamin A and drugs such as alopurinol/zyloprim and coumadin/warfarin can also affect hair.

Other causes of hair loss include anemia, heavy diet, surgery and emotional trauma. Polycystic ovary syndrome, childbirth and thyroiporu dies may also be the cause of the female pattern. Some autoimmune diseases may cause hair to fall into clusters called Alopecia Areata. Hair loss can sometimes be the only symptom of diseaseI, so women should visit a specialist in the baldness of female patterns to be checked for possible basic medical causes.
