Hyphen insert optional hyphen

The steps for inserting optional hyphens between English words in a Word2010 document are as follows:
Step 1. Open the Word2010 document window and position the insertion point cursor at the appropriate position in the middle of the English word where you need to insert optional hyphens.
Step 2. Switch to the "Insert" ribbon, click the "Symbols" button in the "Symbols" group, and select the "Other Symbols" command in the open symbol panel.
Step 3. Open the "Symbols" dialog and switch to the "Special Symbols" tab. Select the "Optional Hyphen" option and click the "Insert" button to insert an optional hyphen in a Word2010 document.
