What is SWF Converter?
SWF, which was originally for "Shockwave Flash" and now means "Small Format of the Web", is a file format developed for a simple drawing and animation tool for the web in 1996. The developers in 1996 began to transport it in 1996, but sold it to full development before the end of the year. In 2005, Adobe® bought Macromedia® and continued to develop Flash® with an extension of the work file called FLA (Flash Authoring) and Native Export on the Internet at Adobe® Air ™ Software or Adobe® Flash® Player Still SWF. In addition, Adobe® has published Flash® specification, which allowed everyone to create a Flash® player. The SWF converter is a file converter that either converts the SWF file to another file type, or converts another file type to the SWF file, although Adobe® states that the format was not intended to be used to replace graphics between different editing programs.
The simplest and most visible SWF converter to change SWF to another file type is Adobe® Flash®. Instead of exporting a movie to SWF format, it can be exported as a QuickTime® (MOV) file, as an animated GIF or as a sequence of GIF, JPEG, PICT or PNG files. For one picture it is possible to export as GIF, JPEG, PICT, PNG or Adobe® Illustrator® (AI). Not everyone who wants to convert SWF files has Flash® and not everyone wants to convert from SWF to another format. The fact that an estimated 98% of desktop users whose computers are connected to the Internet and 800 million mobile devices and headphones have a Flash® player is one of the reasons why people who don't have Flash® might want a SWF converter.
There are several different ways to classify the types of SWF converter. In general, they convert files in only one direction, ie some convert SWF files into a number of other file types - such as DVD, MP4And IOV -but do not translate in the opposite direction, while others convert files only to SWF but not from. Some do not translate the latest Flash® compression and some allow the dose to be converted, while others do not. The editing feature varies and some are finally free, while others are available to buy.
