What is BCC?

BCC is an abbreviation used in e -mail, which simply means a copy of the blind carbon. A normal e -mail address can have three classes of e -mail recipients: recipients, CC recipients and BCC recipients. The recipients are considered to be the primary recipients of the e -mail, the recipients of the CC are those who receive copies of the e -mail, and the BCC recipients are those who receive copies of the E -mail carbon, but their address, but for their e -mail addresses, but for their e -mail addresses they don't see. The recipients in the field are generally considered to be the message to which the message is actively addressed, and therefore a message containing only recipients is issued to their e -mail address, as they are assumed that they are working on the same project or are part of the same group. On the other hand, CC recipients are interested in the interest that are not directly addressed, and in some situations they can be fine because they know each other with e -mail addresses. BCC recipients are used when a large number of recipients or people from different areas alive is includedOTA who are likely to want shared e -mail addresses shared with a larger group.

BCC field can also be very useful if you want to easily send a copy of the e -mail without knowing the primary recipient knowing that someone would get a copy of the e -mail. Although this could be achieved by creating a second copy of the E -mail body and its re -field, the BCC field allows a smooth way to do this by one click. Since the BCC recipient can see the e -mail address and the recipient's name, if it is included, they know who the e -mail is intended for, but for the recipient it would seem that he was the only person who received the e -mail.

In e -mail Mailing states that the BCC field is traditionally used as a courtesy for people who are part of the list. Although everyone was on the list OK, when everyone else on the list had access to their e -mail address, have such a long list e -maiLů represents the risk of spam for all on it. Many lists of SPAM are generated by the presence of viruses on a local computer who reaps e -mail addresses from the received e -mails. E -mail with e -mail can provide a huge list of addresses for such viruses and the use of BCC means that such a list never exists on anyone except the consignor's computer, which significantly reduces the risk that the virus will receive addresses.

The concept of a copy of blind carbons actually precedes personal computers and e -mail by some time. Typists would sometimes create many copies of the letter with alternating pages of carbon paper between normal writing paper, so when the keys of the typewriters hit the pages, they made more copies. Addresses and greetings were often left to blank during the carbon copy phase, and then were then manually added so that the recipients could not see who other letter a letter.
