What is the decision -making software?
The decision is widely considered to be a process with at least five steps. These are: defining the situation, generating alternative options for events, gathering information, choosing the best alternatives and taking action. Software is a computer program that provides an operating system for a computer or performs a task. Decision -making software (DMS) is a software that helps the user in the decision -making process. The decision -making software is considered to be a subgroup of decision -making systems (DSS), which have a wider goal, while the decision -making systems (MCDM) have a narrower goal, which is to help decide on pre -selected alternatives as a result of conflicting criteria. Models of the decision -making on which the software is based are rational models, rational iteration models, models with a specified number of Steps - for example 5, 6, 7 or 9 - intuitive models and other models. Another choice is between the model of the decision -making tree of the decision -making software, unlike the step model or other models, which are not trees such as cognitive mapping software and nuts. One person or organization can find different models useful in different situations.
Software for decision -making is most often sold to businesses, but there are also personal versions and online versions, some of which are free. Some programs are freely standing and others are Microsoft® Excel® accessories; Some are more accessible to be used by groups than others. Some people simply use table software because they are their decisions, adapting them in any way that works for them.
Decision -making examples include logical decisions® that uses matrix; Banxia® Explorer® decision -making, which is cognitive mapping software; Lumenaut®, which is a Microsoft® Excel® supplement that offers tree -analysis; Vanguard Studio ™ with analysis of decision -making analysis, which also offers MarkOv's simulation; and MindDecider® that offers mind mapping and decision -making.
