What is modular software?
Software includes programs that make up a computer system and programs that run in this system. Modular architecture concerns a design in which at least some components are optional and separate, it is possible to add or omit the user as needed. Modular software is a software developed with a design strategy that provides users to create various configurations by minimizing use or adding modules. It can also refer to software that has been designed to be separate and can be developed, tested and maintained separately. It can also be productive in easy reuse of discrete components.
Modular software in the first sense is widely used in legal and Timeshare software. Modules fitted for two different purposes can be found in practice management software. In some cases, the basic software program has basic functions such as billing, accounting package and calendar. Extra modules contain elements not every law firm BuDe need. In this way, only those practices that require functions such as electronic billing or the ability to process credit cards are born.
Another way to use modules in legal software is to create software to manage practice specific to the type of practice by providing modular software items that are only needed within specialties. Those who practice criminal law or intellectual property or the law on injury can thus buy a separate module of practice, which has messages, forms and library, which is specific to its area of focus.
Timeshare software also has two different ways of modules deployed. First, because Timeshare software uses large and small businesses and hotels and centers that partly pay the guest, part of Timeshare, as wellLa needs. Separate modules are available for expanding the basic program for those clients who need it, say, for internet reservations or condominium owners.
On the contrary, the modular software is configured for the use of Timeshare and holidays is with modules specific to part of the participating business. This leads to completely different divisions. For example, one can have a marketing module, a sales module, a management module and a financial module.
