What Is WAP GSM?

WAP (Wireless Communication Protocol) is a global open standard for communication between digital mobile phones, the Internet or other personal digital assistants (PDAs), computer applications, and even future information appliances. The birth of this standard is the result of the efforts of members of the WAP Forum, which was formed in June 1997 by Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola and Unwi redPlanet.
