What are angular beads?

angle balls are strips of thin sheet or plastic, which are used to cover the outer corners of plastered or plasterboard walls. They are long corner strips, which are usually made of solid material directly in the corner and made of perforated or ignited material on the edges. The angle balls are used to add force to the corners of the walls, the provision of sharp angles on the corner of the wall and protect the corners from the bumps and scratches.

angle balls are often called corner beads in the construction store. They can usually be seen in lengths of 8 feet (about 2.4 meters), which is a standard wall height in the US. The angle balls are only used in the outer corners and are not used in the inner corners. Builders usually use plasterboard tape - which is made of flexible network material - to connect to the inner corners of the walls. In general, the bead is screwed into the wall. Then a number of thin coats of combin or plaster spread over the angular ball, leaving drying, then groundy and again covered to provide a smooth and finished look. Usually, three layers of plasterboard or plaster are applied and ground before installing angle balls.

Angle Beading is not usually expensive. The price differences will largely differ depending on the material from which the coating is made. Galvanized angular balls can be more expensive, but often bring a more robust result. The plastic angle beads may be easier to cut and may be less likely to leave sharp edges when cut.

Although angular balls are not necessary to complete the outer corners, they are generally preferred. Some come in strips that are already created into a corner shape. Others come in flat roles that have a self -adhesive pad. This type of angle beads can be introduced, cut to length and bend around the corner of the Wall.
