- 1. Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2 dangerous gas places;
- 2. A, B, C group T1 ~ T6 group explosive gas or vapor environment;
- 3. Applicable to flammable dust environment 20, 21, 22;
- 4. Indoor and outdoor (IP54, IP65 *).
- 1.1 Division of explosive gas environment dangerous areas Different countries and regions shall divide explosive dangerous areas according to their respective standards. According to the frequency and duration of the occurrence of explosive gas mixtures in China, the explosive gas environment is divided into Zone O, Zone 1, and Zone 2. (In line with IEC International Electrotechnical Commission)
Zone 0: An environment where explosive gas mixtures appear continuously or for a long time.
Zone 1: An environment where explosive gas mixtures may occur during normal operation.
Zone 2: An environment where explosive gas mixtures are unlikely to occur during normal operation or an environment where explosive gas mixtures are only present for a short time even if they occur.
Zone 0 generally exists only in sealed containers, storage tanks and other internal gas spaces. In the actual design process, zone 1 rarely exists, and most cases belong to zone 2.
1.2 Explosion-proof electrical equipment is divided into two categories:
Class electrical equipment for underground coal mines. Electrical equipment used in other than mines. 1.3 electrical equipment is classified into A, B, C according to its maximum test safety clearance or minimum ignition current ratio applicable to explosive gas mixtures. ; And divided into six groups T1-T6 according to their highest surface temperature.
1.4 Explosive gas mixtures are grouped by ignition temperature, see Table 1.
1.5 Explosive gas mixtures are classified according to their maximum test safety clearance (MESG) or minimum ignition current ratio (MICR), see Table 2.
