What are the different types of selector valves?

Valid valves are valves used to divert the flow of liquid or gas between two or more points to simply close it or allow it to pass. A large number of different types of voters with many industries or specific applications using custom -made variants are available. Most of them, however, fall into several basic categories, such as a rotating spindle, piston or valves type balls with double position. Regarding their design and materials used, selector valves also fall into groups depending on the specific requirements of the application for which they are used. Although it differs in the layout and function, the types of voters more often than not share many of these specifics with conventional flow valves used in similar applications.

The valves are generally used to control the flow of fluids and gases. They may have a relatively simple design to turn on/off used to permits or stop the flow or can be used to regulate the quantityflow in the system. One particular valve family is used to divert the flow of fluid or gas from their sources to one or more specific destinations. These selector valves are used where Down-Stream requirements or system consumers require the flow to be directed to different parts of the system if necessary. A good example of this type of valve is a simple pipe type Y.

Valuation valves commonly occur in a wide range of industries from complex hydraulic systems to simple home irrigation and are available in the appropriate size, configurations and capacities. However, most of them work according to one of the small group of common designs. High -pressure voter valves are usually a rotary spindle, piston or multi -pointed ball types of tight tolerance, high -fixed design. Lower pressure valves designed for use with non-hazard fluids, jAKOs are the cheys of rrigation will often have more spindle positions or a ball construction with a less robust construction.

The

rotary valves of the spindle and selector are working along similar lines and have a rotating, close -fitting central arbor or a ball located in a housing or chamber. The spindle or ball has a passing opening of the fluid that forms the fluid or the flow of the gas. Two or more corresponding output ports are included in the housing that are made with this opening linearly. When turning the spindle or ball turns, the flow path is alternately assembled with one of the ports, allowing the operator to select which output is used. These designs are available in high and low pressure types.

Piston selectors are usually used only in high -pressure applications. These valves have a central rod equipped with one or more piston heads of a larger diameter along its length. The piston travels in a tightly mounting tube intermittent by output ports that are alternatedthe piston moves along its length. The position of the piston is selected by the operator and the liquid flows inside the tube passing through any output port is open. These valves are most often found in high demand hydraulic systems.
