What Is a Burnishing Tool?
The polishing tool includes an air bag, the front end of the air bag has a polishing cloth as a working surface, the air bag is installed in a holder, the holder is installed on a rotating shaft, and the rotating shaft is sleeved with a set Tube, the sleeve is air-tightly connected to the rotating shaft, the sleeve is provided with an external air source inlet and an overflow valve; the rotating shaft inside the sleeve is provided with an air flow channel, and the air flow channel is Communicate with the air bag.

- The manufacturing method of the spherical surface polishing device is basically the same as that of the planar polishing device. The radius of curvature of the polished surface of a convex workpiece must be 3mm larger than the radius of curvature of the workpiece, and the surface of a concave workpiece is polished. The radius of curvature is 3mm smaller than the radius of curvature of the workpiece.
- 3) Polisher for freeform surface. For flat or spherical polishing operations, the size of the polisher is not important because of the positional relationship between the grinding surface and the polisher. However, the free-form surface changes continuously, and when using a large polisher, it is easy to damage the shape of the workpiece surface. Therefore, for free-form surfaces, a small polisher should be used for polishing. The smaller the polisher, the easier it is to simulate the shape of the free-form surface.
- Due to the large amount of manual polishing work of the mold working part profile. Therefore, in the mold industry, the application of electric polishing machines is gradually expanding to improve polishing efficiency and reduce labor intensity. The electric polishing tool used is the aforementioned grinding and polishing auxiliary tool. -
- The structure of the electric polishing machine has been described above, and two commonly used polishing methods are described below.
- 1) When the processing surface is a flat surface or a regular surface with a large radius of curvature, a handheld angle-type rotary polishing head or a hand-held straight-type rotary polishing head is used, and a copper ring is used to apply polishing paste to the workpiece for polishing.
- 2) When the processing surface is a small curved surface or a complex shaped profile, a handheld reciprocating grinding head is used, and a copper ring is used to apply polishing paste to the workpiece for polishing.
- The new polishing and grinding head is a new type of grinding head made of high-molecular elastic poly-L material. This grinding head has a microporous sponge-like structure, uniform abrasive, good elasticity, and can be directly mirror-finished. When used, the grinding force is uniform, less heat is generated, and it is not easy to be blocked. A smooth, smooth and uniform surface can be obtained. There are many kinds of elastic abrasive formulas, which are used for grinding various materials. The grinding head can be trimmed into various required shapes with a grinding wheel before use.
