What Is a Cable Conveyor?

A cable conveyor is an electric machine that lays power cables (or communication cables). It can be used with cable traction machine, hoist and other cable laying equipment. The construction is convenient and fast, which can greatly save manpower and material resources, thereby effectively reducing construction costs.

Cable conveyor

Suitable for large-scale urban power grid transformation, suitable for large-section, long-distance cable laying, reducing labor intensity and improving construction quality. The cable conveyor has large thrust, small size, light weight, and easy operation. It is particularly suitable for cable piping, tunnels, straightening, and long-distance transportation.
The types of cable conveyors are divided into: diesel cable conveyors, gasoline cable conveyors, and power conveyors, lifting XRS-type power conveyors are becoming more and more widely used, because such cable conveyors can be used in series to achieve large-scale 2. Long distance large-scale cable transmission project.
1. Adjust the height of the front and rear supporting rollers of the cable conveyor to support the cables according to the size of the cable being transported. To adjust the cable, loosen the thumbscrew, move the tug height up and down, and then tighten the thumbscrew.
2. According to the size of the cable to be transported, loosen the tension screw counterclockwise with the hand crank to loosen the rubber track in place so as to put the cable to be transported.
3. Before using the conveyor, it is necessary to fully check whether the connecting bolts and nuts of various components are loose. If they are loose, tighten them, and check whether the grease on the open gear is lubricated in place. After adjusting the cable conveyor, fix the whole machine, and then run the cable conveyor for five minutes under no load in order to check the working condition of the whole machine.
4. The single-use cable conveyor needs to be fixed to the ground, adjust the height of the supporting rollers, then loosen the rubber track, put the cable into the rubber track, use a wrench to turn the elastic screw clockwise to clamp the cable, start the motor, and cable transfer The machine can then transport the job.
5. Series use Due to the heavy weight of large-section cables, it is difficult for a single machine to meet the construction requirements. At this time, multiple cable conveyors need to be used in series with the cooperation of a tractor.
(1) Stop the traction when the cable enters the first cable conveyor under the traction of the tractor, clamp the cable between the rubber tracks, and then start the tractor and the cable conveyor at the same time.
(2) Stop the traction when the cable enters the second cable conveyor, clamp the cable between the rubber tracks, and then start the tractor and the two cable conveyors.
(3) Stop the traction when the cable enters the third conveyor, clamp the cable between the rubber tracks, and then start the tractor and the three cable conveyors. (4) Repeat the above operation until the cable enters the last cable conveyor, at this time, the drag-and-drop construction of the entire line cable can be performed. In order to ensure the synchronous operation of each machine, the user needs to configure the corresponding synchronous power control cabinet according to the specific construction plan. The synchronous power control cabinet is divided into a main control box and a sub-control box. One main control box can control ten sub-control boxes and one sub-control. The box controls a cable conveyor. For the convenience of users, each control box has enough power sockets for the connection between the main control box and the sub-control box and the cable conveyor. The stop switch set on each sub-control box and the main control box can make the entire line drag and drop to stop the operation, so as to achieve the safety principle of sub-control total stop.
