Conveying Hose

Compared with protective, wrapping, and sheathing hoses, transport hoses emphasize hoses that transport and pump media.

Conveying hose according to material

In order to adapt to the physical and chemical conditions of various industrial operations, industrial hoses usually have very strict standards for the chemical raw materials and processes of internal and external colloids. Common materials, such as:
PVC. Chemical resistance, light weight, anti-staining, anti-flatulence, the disadvantage is easy aging.
PUR polyurethane. Chemical resistance, light weight, good abrasion resistance.
NR natural rubber. Elastic, frost-resistant, wear-resistant, tear-resistant, resistant to dilute acid, low-temperature water and alcohol, the disadvantage is weak chemical resistance
SBR oil-filled styrene-butadiene rubber. It is resistant to air compounds, industrial water, ethylene glycol, etc. The disadvantage is weak chemical resistance.
EPDM. Resistant to heat, steam, ozone, ultraviolet rays and chemicals.
NBR acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer / nitrile. Resistant to mineral oil products, oils and fuels, low temperature and low concentration inorganic acids.
CR neoprene / rubber. Chemical resistance, ozone aging and UV resistance, flame resistance.
SI silicone rubber. High temperature resistance, cold resistance, ozone aging resistance, tasteless. The disadvantage is high cost.
UPE / XLPE cross-linked polyethylene. Chemical resistance, oxidation resistance and good stability. The disadvantage is weak breathability.

Conveying hose according to working conditions

The operating conditions can be roughly divided into nine categories.
Water supply hose. Used in irrigation, horticulture, construction, fire protection, equipment and tanker cleaning, agricultural fertilizer, manure, industrial sewage drainage, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly PVC and EPDM.
Hot water and steam hoses. Used for cooling water of refrigeration equipment, hot and cold water of engine, food processing, especially for hot water and saturated steam in dairy factory. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM.
Beverage food hoses. For non-fat such as milk, carbonic acid, orange juice, beer, animal and vegetable oil, drinking water, etc. The inner rubber material is mostly NR or synthetic rubber. Usually requires food-grade FDA, DVGW A-level, KTW or CE standard qualification certification.
Air hose. Used in compressors, pneumatics, mining, construction, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly NBR, PVC composite, PU, SBR. There are usually strict requirements for the applicable pressure.
Welded hose. Used for gas welding and cutting. The inner rubber material is mostly NBR or synthetic rubber, and the outer rubber is usually made of red, blue, yellow, etc. to show special gases.
Ventilation hose. Used for hot gas, dust mist, smoke, chemical gas emission, etc. The inner rubber is mostly thermoplastic material and PVC. Usually the body has a retractable design.
Material suction hose. For gas, mist, powder, granules, fibers, grit, cement, chemical fertilizers, coal dust, quicksand, concrete, gypsum and other solid particles containing fluids. The inner rubber materials are mostly NR, NBR, SBR, PU. Usually the outer rubber has higher abrasion resistance.
Oil delivery hose. Used for fuel, diesel, kerosene, petroleum, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly NBR, PVC compound and SBR. There is usually a conductive wire between the inside and outside rubber to prevent sparks.
Chemical hose. Used in acid, chemical solution, etc. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM. Usually this class requires custom materials and designs.
