What is a Disc Sander?

Woodworking sanders are divided into 3 types: drum type, belt type and disc type.

One tension wheel also makes a small amount of warpage to cause the belt to move laterally. Sanding machines for flat surface processing have fixed or moving worktables; sanding machines for curved surface processing use the flexibility of sanding belts to process workpieces under the pressure of a template. The broadband woodworking sander has the advantages of high efficiency, guaranteed processing accuracy, and simple belt replacement. It is suitable for sanding of large wood-based panels, furniture panels and decorative panels or boards before and after painting.

Disc type woodworking sander Sanding the workpiece with sandpaper (cloth) close to the end surface of the rotating disc. There are vertical and horizontal, single and double discs. The workpiece is fed by manual or motor for flat sanding, which is suitable for the manufacturing of cars, furniture and wooden molds.

During the operation of the sander, the abrasive discs, wheels, belts, and polishing wheels may be cracked and exploded at any time. You must wear glasses, helmets, and other protective equipment when operating

During operation of the machine, it is strictly forbidden to touch the abrasive belt, grinding wheel, grinding head, polishing wheel, etc.

Do not use the machine without effective protection measures

A large amount of dust will be generated when sanding. Use a mask.

Sanding equipment should be installed in a dry, ventilated place without direct sunlight.

During the use of automatic sander, it is necessary to have matching dust removal equipment, otherwise it is easy to cause failure, damage equipment and affect production.

The belt belt sanding should be adjusted in time when belt deviation is found.

Wheel-type sanding must confirm the accurate running direction of the wheel, and lock the wheel to prevent the wheel from flying out. ^[2]
