- The dust bag is the core component of the bag dust collector, and is the "heart" of bag dust collection.
- The function of the dust bag is mainly two: one is to filter the dust to make the enterprise meet the environmental protection emission standards; the other is to recycle the materials in the production process, which is of great significance in production.
- The main varieties of dust bag
- Polypropylene (PP)
- The continuous operating temperature of polypropylene does not exceed 90 , and the instantaneous operating temperature does not exceed 100 . Polypropylene has excellent chemical properties. Except for oxidizing acids such as chlorosulfonic acid and concentrated nitric acid, it has a good resistance to other acids. Except for caustic soda, other alkalis have no effect on it. Excellent hydrolysis resistance; Polypropylene has high strength, good abrasion resistance, high elastic recovery rate, good insulation performance, and smooth filter material surface which is helpful for dust removal. It is easy to decompose in the presence of oxidants, copper and related salts; it should be protected from sunlight due to its poor UV resistance.
- Polypropylene is suitable for humid occasions, and is widely used in food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical, tobacco industry, electrostatic spraying, and low temperature working conditions of melting plants.
- Polyacrylonitrile (DT)
- When the continuous operating temperature of homopolyacrylonitrile is lower than 125 ° C, the instantaneous temperature does not exceed 140 ° C. Homopolyacrylonitrile has good resistance to organic solvents, oxidants, inorganic and organic acids at a temperature below 125 ° C, and good hydrolysis resistance. Therefore, it is used to replace polyester in low-temperature and acidic chemical corrosion and humid places. Homoacrylonitrile has average alkali resistance.
- Homopolyacrylonitrile is used in non-ferrous metal processing and smelting processes. It is also used in the coal drying process of carbon black, cement, lime, fertilizer and other production processes, and is also widely used in the field of wet filtration.
- Polyester (PET)
- The continuous operating temperature of polyester does not exceed 132 , and the instant temperature resistance can reach 150 . Polyester has good performance at room temperature and is the most cost-effective filter material at room temperature. Polyester has excellent electrical insulation, good abrasion resistance, high strength, and good elastic recovery performance. The short-term strength loss at 170 ° C can be recovered and the thermal stability is good. Polyester has poor hygroscopicity and is easily hydrolyzed. It is stable to low concentrations of inorganic acids at low temperatures, but will dissolve in concentrated sulfuric acid and heated formic acid. It is relatively stable to general organic solvents, has good resistance to weak bases, and good resistance to strong bases.
- Polyester is widely used in the dust collection process of steel metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, cement industry, wood processing and other fields.
- Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)
- The continuous use temperature of PPS can reach 160 , and the instant temperature resistance can reach 200 . The simple chemical structure of PPS determines its high temperature resistance and strong chemical stability. The geometric shapes are symmetrical to each other and highly linear, which makes them have a very high melting point (285 ° C). At the same time, PPS has excellent heat resistance, excellent acid and alkali resistance, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and is also a very good flame retardant filter material, with extremely high thermal stability. The disadvantage of PPS is that it has poor oxidation resistance and is prone to oxidative corrosion.
- PPS is widely used in coal-fired boilers, as well as in the flue gas purification process of waste incinerators, coke ovens, kiln, and chemical drying. It is also used in carbon black, powder collection, pneumatic conveying, and the cement industry. It can be replaced by PPS under the condition that Aramid cannot be used due to chemical erosion and hydrolysis.
- Aramid
- The continuous operating temperature of aramid reaches 200 ° C, and the instantaneous use temperature reaches 240 ° C. Aramid has excellent flame retardancy, good alkali and corrosion resistance, excellent thermal stability, excellent abrasion resistance and folding resistance. Aramid has poor hydrolysis resistance. When there is SOx and water vapor in the flue gas or dew point often occurs, its service life will be greatly reduced. The condition that the polyester cannot be used because the temperature is too high can be replaced by aramid .
- Aramid is mainly used in the purification of flue gas in the production process of the cement industry, asphalt industry, metallurgical industry, and tobacco industry.
- Polyimide (P84)
- P84 filter material runs continuously under the temperature of 240 , the mechanical properties of P84 polyimide fiber filter material will not change, and the instant temperature resistance is 260 . P84 fiber is a high temperature resistant synthetic flame retardant fiber with excellent chemical resistance and hydrolysis resistance. The cross-sectional structure of P84 is leaf type, has a large filtering surface area, has excellent filtering properties, and is conducive to the cleaning of filter bags. P84 is more expensive and is more suitable for processes with harsh chemical conditions, but in the presence of moisture, P84 will be corroded by both acids and alkalis.
- P84 is mainly used in the purification of flue gas in the processes of asphalt mixing, cement kiln, drying, combustion, smelting, various industrial kiln, coal-fired boilers and waste incineration, etc., and it is widely used in processes with high emission concentration requirements.
- Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
- PTFE fiber has excellent chemical performance stability and heat resistance, can withstand strong acid and alkali corrosion in all pH ranges, continuous use temperature can reach 240 , instant temperature resistance can reach 280 , can withstand a variety of strong oxidants, Excellent hydrolysis resistance; good flame retardancy, insulation, heat insulation, light stability, low coefficient of friction and small adhesion. Aolan PTFE filter has excellent filtration efficiency, low and stable pressure difference, and easy dust removal. Under the same working conditions, the service life is much longer than other high-temperature filters.
- The disadvantage of PTFE fiber filter is the higher price. Therefore, PTFE is more suitable for the harsh conditions that require corrosion resistance and the requirements for the service life of the filter, such as the flue gas treatment during waste incineration.
