What is a flange board?

The flange board is a flat circular disc, which is welded to the end of the pipe and allows it to be screwed into another tube. Usually fuel and water are used in the pipeline, both flange boards will be screwed together with the seal between them. The flange plate will have holes for screws around the perimeter and will be used to create joints, tees and joints.

When creating a pipeline, the length of the piping used is not always known. By manufacturing a pipeline separated from the flange plate, the welders can trim the tube to the length and weld the flange plate in place to connect to the pipes in any required length. Plates can also be welded to the pipe for slight distortion, allowing two pipes to be connected that may not be accurately sorted. This allows the flange of a black pipe of 6 inches (15 cm) to perfectly connect with a 6 -inch stainless steel flange. The flanges of the flange will have serrated surface treatment on the ton inside the mating, which allows the board to sit in the seal material. This ensures perfect bakeč between two connecting pipes.

There are many different styles of flange boards that are used for different purposes. The blind plate acts as a cover or pipe cap and is used to seal or block pipes. The slip style of the board allows the plate to slide onto the tube and then weld on the spot. The use of a wicked weld -style board at the ends of the two pipes makes it easy to connect and disconnect.

flange boards with beveled and chamfered are used to help align two pipes that are out of equalization. Plates with outlet on the study are plates that have pins inserted around the plate instead of screw holes. This type of board allows the pipe to be connected by moving one flange plate above the pins on the other flange plate and then tightening the nuts to ensure that the pilot is secured.

flange boards allow you to remove part of the pipe or easily add toconduit. Without flange boards, the pipes would require cutting and welding to separate or add. That would be much more expensive and the pipeline would be out of service for a long time.
