What Is a Magnetic Hammer?

Electromagnetic vibrator, also known as warehouse wall vibrator. It can be used for various vibration machinery, such as feeder, small conveyor, vibrating screen, vibrating platform and warehouse wall vibration, etc. It is flexible and convenient to use.

A device that applies a pulsating voltage obtained by performing half-wave rectification of alternating current to a coil, and uses its electromagnetic force to cause the movable iron core to vibrate is called an electromagnetic vibrator. Rubber for movable iron core,
Compared with mechanical vibrators, electromagnetic vibrators have a simple structure,

Structural characteristics of electromagnetic vibrator

Electromagnetic vibrators can be divided into leaf spring type, coil spring type and rubber spring according to the elastic components used

formula. The core structure forms are "u", "H", "mountain" and round. Currently, more power is used for half-wave rectification, followed by half-wave plus DC power.
Figure 6-16a is an electromagnetic vibrator with a leaf spring "mountain" -shaped electromagnet structure. Large vibrators use "u" shaped electromagnets. The spring plate is fixed to the vibrator case with compression bolts at both ends of the plate spring, and the connection plate of the load bearing member is fixed at the middle of the spring plate with compression bolts, and the armature is connected to the connection plate. The iron core is fixed on the casing. A gap of 1.8 to 2 mm is generally left between the core and the armature.
The load-bearing member, the connecting plate and the armature constitute a mass body, and the other mass body is composed of a casing, an electromagnet and a coil. In this way, a dual-mass vibration system is formed under the action of pulsed electromagnetic force.
Figure 6-16b shows a coil spring electromagnetic vibrator. Four helical springs hold the weight mass 5 in the middle, and are pressed by the screw and the connection plate 1 connected to the bearing member. The iron core 4 and the coil 6 are fixed on the weight mass, and the armature is fixed on the connecting plate connected to the bearing member. Because the weight of the weight body is relatively light and the relative amplitude is large, the gap between the core and the armature is larger than that of the leaf spring vibrator, which is generally 2 to 3 mm. The manufacturing quality of coil springs is relatively high. The stiffness and length of the four springs on the same vibrator should be the same to avoid deflection vibration. The pre-compression of the spring should be greater than the relative amplitude. Usually the pre-compression is 4 to 5 mm. The coil spring electromagnetic vibrator is suitable for small and medium-sized vibration machinery and can be used as a silo wall vibrator.
Figure 6-16c is an electromagnetic vibrator using a ring-shaped shear rubber spring. The iron core is electric pure iron, which can be designed into various shapes according to the structural needs. The picture shows a circular ring structure. The coil 6 is placed in a ring-shaped iron core 4 and fixed with epoxy resin casting. The armature 2 and the counterweight 5 are connected to form a dual mass vibration system. This vibrator is suitable for small vibration machinery and as a silo wall vibrator. [3]

Working principle of electromagnetic vibrator

The working principle of the electromagnetic vibrator is shown in Figure 1-21. There is an electromagnetic coil in the electromagnetic vibrator, and the current passing through the electromagnetic coil is a pulse current rectified by half-wave. At the positive half wave, the current passes, and the electromagnet has a suction force, which attracts the vibrating plate. When the negative half wave, no current passes, the electromagnet suction force disappears. Due to the action of the spring, the vibration plate returns to its original position, and gives The coal trough is connected with the vibration plate, so that under the action of the electromagnetic vibrator, the coal trough continuously vibrates.
