What Is a Metal Etching Machine?
Etching machines can be divided into chemical etching machines and electrolytic etching machines. In chemical etching, a chemical solution is used to achieve the purpose of etching through a chemical reaction. A chemical etching machine is a technology that removes a material by a chemical reaction or a physical impact.
Etching machine
- Automatic etching machine:
- 1. The automatic chemical etching machine seen on the market today uses high-pressure spraying and linear movement of the etched plate to form a continuous and uninterrupted feeding state to etch the workpiece to improve production efficiency;
- 2. The effective area and uniformity of the sprayed and etched metal plates are increased, which is better than splash etching, regardless of the etching effect, speed, and improvement of the operator's environment and convenience;
- 3. After repeated experiments, the etch stains remaining on the etched workpiece can be effectively removed under the spray pressure of 1-2 Kg / cm2, which greatly improves the etching speed in the traditional etching method. It can be recycled and used, which can greatly reduce the cost of etching and meet the requirements of environmental protection processing.
- Electro-etching is based on the principle of anodic dissolution of metals in liquids with tap water or brine as the main body of etching. The metal is etched (under the action of electrolysis) and the power of the etch is turned on to achieve the purpose of etching. Commercially available electrolytic etching machines are manual spray type, and both use salt water as the etching solution. There are two types of power.
- Advantages: No pollution, but only one step of etching without pollution is not feasible, and other processes must also be pollution-free, suitable for experimental production and small area etching. It is mainly used as a research experiment machine, or simply to etch marks on metal, also known as electrical marking.
- Disadvantages: the etching surface is uneven, and the large-area corrosion rate is slow, which cannot be used for mass production, nor can it be used for large-area etching of embossed letters, and cannot be used for mass production processing of signs. Since electrolytic etching is formed under the condition that the metal is conductive, then the side of our product will be etched when the etching has any depth, so that many fine patterns and fine text will be rotted.
- Etching machines are mainly used in the aviation, machinery, and sign industries. Etching technology is widely used in the processing of weight-reduction instrument panels, nameplates, and thin workpieces that are difficult to process with traditional processing methods. Etching is an indispensable technology in semiconductor and circuit board manufacturing processes. It can also etch patterns, patterns, geometric shapes on the surface of various metals such as: iron, copper, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, zinc plate, and other metal and metal products, and can be precisely hollowed out. It can also professionally etch and cut thin plates for various types of domestic and imported stainless steel. Today it is widely used in gold card sign processing, mobile phone key processing, stainless steel screen processing, stainless steel elevator decorative plate processing, metal lead frame processing, metal temples. Industrial applications such as wire processing, circuit board processing, and decorative metal plate processing.
