What Are Excavator Breakers?
The power source of the hydraulic breaker is the pressure oil provided by the pump station of the excavator or loader, which can more effectively clean the floating stones and the soil in the rock gaps during the role of excavating the building foundation. The principle of selecting a hydraulic breaker is to select the most suitable hydraulic breaker according to the model of the excavator and the operating environment.
Hammer
- Hydraulic
- Impact-Enhanced Structural Design
- The hydraulic breaker adopts the optimized design concept, which increases the stroke of the piston and the cylinder.
- The best matching effect with the host, reasonable use of the highest output energy, saving energy and achieving the highest working efficiency.
- Made with high-quality materials and special precision technology.
- The materials of important parts such as the piston, the main body bolt, the front part of the main body, the oil cylinder, and the rear part of the main body are subject to strict quality inspection by HALL, which can guarantee the highest quality. The main parts such as the piston, the front of the main body, the oil cylinder, and the rear of the main body are manufactured using the latest heat treatment equipment. Many years of technical experience have guaranteed excellent quality and stability. The HALB hydraulic breaker has invested in several facilities to set up a special MCT (Universal Machine Center) for the breaker.
- The Guanghan Breaker is taken as an example to illustrate
- 1) The number in the model of the hydraulic hammer may indicate the weight of the excavator or the bucket capacity, or the weight of the hydraulic hammer, or the diameter of the drill rod, or the impact energy of the hydraulic hammer. In most cases, numbers don't correspond one-to-one with what they mean, often a range of numbers. And sometimes the parameters of the hydraulic hammer have changed, but the model is still the same, which makes the meaning of the model number more ambiguous. What's more, the data does not match the actual data, so users need to pay more attention.
- 2) The matching of the hydraulic hammer and the excavator. For the users of the excavator, the main consideration is the matching of the weight and the matching of the power. For other load-bearing machinery, power matching and weight matching are equally important. It is also very reliable to choose a hydraulic hammer according to the experience of other users.
Breaker precautions
- A debris shield device should be installed in front of the cab to prevent injuries caused by flying debris during operation.
- During operation, all site personnel, including the driver of the excavator, must wear earplugs and masks.
- The driver should sit on the seat and operate the breaker. The breaker should only be used when the excavator / loader and breaker are in normal condition.
- If someone enters the dangerous area of the operation, the operation of the breaker should be stopped immediately; because of the digging operation, when the breaker is operating, people are easily hit by flying pieces.
- When working with a breaker, the excavator / loader should be operated in accordance with the safety operation regulations of the excavator / loader manufacturer. Make sure to use a properly installed and properly adjusted breaker.
- Do not operate the breaker while drunk or responding to medication.
- When taking off the curved back for maintenance and inspection, make sure that the working conditions are stable and lower the working device.
Breaker works correctly
- 1) Appropriate breakdown force
- In order to break effectively, the hammer should apply a suitable breakdown force. If the breakdown force is insufficient, the hammer's hammering energy will not be able to effectively crush the rock; in this way, the reaction force of the hammering force will be transmitted to the main body of the breaker, the boom of the excavator / loader, etc., thereby damaging these components.
- On the other hand, in the case of the boom of the excavator / loader, if the breakdown force is too large and the crushing operation is performed, the machine may suddenly tilt at the instant of the crushing stone, the crushing hammer is violent, and the crushing hammer violently hits the stone will cause crushing The hammer is damaged. If the hammer is damaged in this situation, the vibration will also be transmitted to the tracks and wheels of the excavator. Avoid working in this situation.
- Therefore, during the striking operation, pay attention to the breaking force of the breaker at all times. Do not operate when the breaking force is not suitable.
- 2) Breakdown direction
- The breakdown direction should be in line with the steel brazing. When the steel drill breaks the rock, it should be maintained in a vertical direction. If the hammering direction is inclined, the steel drill may slip off during hammering, causing the steel drill and the piston to break or jam. Therefore, when the crushing operation is performed, the breakdown point should be selected so that the steel hammer can ensure the stability of the hammer.
Breaker operation precautions
- The operator should pay attention to the following points while the breaker is working:
- 1) Stop working when the hose is violently vibrated
- The high pressure and low pressure hoses of the breaker should be checked for excessive vibration. If that is the case, it may be a malfunction and you should immediately contact your local service center designated by us for repair service. Should further check the hose joint for oil leakage, if there is oil leakage, the joint should be tightened again. As shown in the figure, during the operation, you should visually check whether there is a margin in the steel brazing. If there is no margin, it must be stuck in the lower body. Remove the lower body and check whether the component should be repaired or replaced.
- 2) Stop operations (avoid excessive air strikes)
- Stop hammering as soon as the stone is broken. If the air strike continues, the bolts will loosen or break, and even the excavator and loader will be adversely affected. When the breaking force of the breaker is improper or the steel drill is used as a pry bar, air strikes will occur. (The sound of the hammer will change when the hammer strikes in the air)
- 3) Breaker cannot be used to move stones
- As shown in the figure, do not use steel brazing or the side of the bracket to roll or push stones. Because at this time the oil pressure comes from the boom and forearm of the excavator, loader. Bucket, swing, or slide operation, so the big and small arms will be damaged, and the hammer of the breaker may be broken, the bracket may be damaged, and the steel drill will be broken or scratched. Avoid using the hammer to move the stones. It is particularly pointed out that steel must be inserted into the stone, and excavation must not be allowed to walk.
- 4) Do not use steel brazing as a lever
- As shown in the figure, if the steel drill is used as a pry bar when the stone is broken, the bolt and the steel drill may break
- 5) Do not hit for more than one minute
- When hitting hard rock, do not hit it for more than one minute at the same place, and then change to another job.
- Prolonged strike operation will cause the oil temperature to rise, which will cause damage to the steel bushing and wear of the steel pipe.
- 6) For long and hard large stones, it can be broken at the cracks or at the tail end, which is relatively easy to crush the stones.
- 7) The breaker should be operated at the routine engine speed
- The crushing hammer is to break the engine speed in accordance with the specified value. Exceeding the engine speed required for the operation will not increase the impact force, but will increase the oil temperature and cause equipment damage.
- 8) The breaker cannot operate in water or mud
- Do not use a breaker in water or mud. Otherwise, the piston or similar parts may rust and cause permanent damage. If you need to work underwater or underwater, you should order a special underwater hammer.
- 9) Don't let the hammer drop directly to crush the stones
- If the crusher falls directly to crush the stone, the crusher or the excavator will bear excessive force, which will easily damage the parts of the excavator and loader.
- 10) When the stroke of the cylinder rod on the boom of the excavator is the largest, do not hit it.
- When the excavator and loader's cylinder rod travel is the largest (the cylinder rod is fully extended or retracted), crushing the stone will damage the oil cylinder and the various components of the excavator and loader.
- 11) Do not hang objects with a breaker
- Do not attach rope hanging objects to the breaker, frame and steel drill. This will easily damage the breaker, bracket and steel drill, and this operation is very dangerous.
- 12) In particular, the engine should be warmed up for 5 to 20 minutes in the winter before the breaker can be operated
- The engine should be preheated according to the operation and maintenance instructions of the excavator and loader, and the crushing operation should be performed at low temperature. This will easily damage the various parts of the breaker, such as pistons and seals.
