What is PickAxe?
Pickaxes are simple hand tools that consist of a handle and a blade. The blade is usually a double head, with narrowing protrusions at each end of the blade. In some cases, Pickaxe will contain a pointed end and a flat end on the opposite sides of the blade, causing a useful tool in a wide range of tasks.
In most cases, the Pickaxe handle is made of some type of hardwood. The handle will be anywhere from four to six feet in length and will be similar to the handle used with any type of ax. Recently, the use of metal handles has become more common. There are also several PICKAXE models that use glass fiber mixtures, although they are usually recommended for less demanding tasks.
The Pickaxe blade consists of some type of metal, often steel or other hard metal. The most common design includes two blades, one of the spikes or spikes coming to a sharp point.
