- 2. Cleaning and inspection of bearing seat
- Before the bearing seat is installed, it should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Scrape the dirt in the bearing housing cavity with a spatula, wipe the dirt with a cloth dipped in gasoline or solvent, and watch for cracks and trachoma to prevent oil leakage during operation. The joint surface of the bearing cover and the bearing seat, and the joint surface of the bearing seat and the bearing oil ring should be ground and scraped, and checked with a feeler gauge. The surface of the bottom plate on which the bearing seat is placed should also be cleaned without bumps, rust and burrs. He must carefully check the screws that tighten the bearing seat and the thread of the seat plate, and test the screws to check whether they are too tight or loose.

- Between the bearing and the bottom plate, an insulating pad or a metal gasket must be used. The metal gasket is used to adjust the horizontal position of the seat. To adjust the relative position of the motor and another motor or machine connected to it. The metal gasket is made of a metal sheet of 0.08 ~ 3 mm. Insulation pads are made of cloth laminate or glass-fiber laminate. The purpose of placing the insulation pad is mainly to prevent the harm of the shaft current. The insulation pad should be 5-10 mm wider than each side of the bearing seat and 3-10 mm thick. In addition to placing an insulating pad between the bearing and the base plate, the screws and studs should also be insulated at the same time. The insulating washer is made of glass wire cloth with a thickness of 2 ~ 5 mm, and its outer diameter is 4 ~ 5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the iron washer. The insulating pad of the oil pipe connection plate connected to the bearing seat can be made of a rubber plate with a thickness of 1 ~ 2 mm. After installation of the insulated bearing seat, the insulation resistance to ground should be checked and measured with a 500 volt megohm meter, and its resistance value should not be less than 1 megohm.

Use theodolite or spirit level to check whether the planes of several shaft seats are in the same horizontal plane, and use a wire hammer to check whether the center of each bearing is on the same axis, as shown in Figure 1-5.
- Adjust the bearing seat according to the method described above. In the process of eliminating the deviation, apply it to a jack-type tool to move the bearing seat. Do not use the method of impact or hammer. The accuracy error of adjusting the bearing seat by this method is within 0.5 ~ 1.0 mm. It should be noted that the installation adjustment of the bearing seat is only a pre-adjustment, and it must be adjusted during centering to meet the requirements of consistent axis lines. After the bearing seat is pre-adjusted, the screws are evenly tightened (tightened diagonally), while the insulating sleeve and the stabilizing nails can be temporarily held, until the centering work is finally completed or before testing.
High temperature bearing
- Since the high temperature bearing seat must meet the requirements of high precision stamping bearing seat and the high temperature stamping bearing seat, when considering the fit and clearance of the high temperature bearing seat, the following two points need to be considered:
1. Dimensional change and hardness change from normal temperature to high temperature;
2. Changes in force system and shape caused by centrifugal force at high speed.
- The high temperature bearing seat requires that the stamped bearing seat of the shaft and the seat hole should have higher dimensional accuracy and shape and position accuracy, especially the coaxiality and the verticality of the shoulder to the seat hole or the journal. In considering these issues, we must pay attention to the high-speed factors and high-temperature factors during the operation of high-temperature bearing blocks.
- It is required that the high temperature bearing seat has the best clearance under the working state, that is, the working clearance is formed under the state of the ball groove center of the inner ring and the outer ring being accurately aligned. At the same time, since the high temperature bearing housings strive to reduce relative sliding and internal friction, it is best not to adopt a method of relatively displacing the inner and outer rings in the axial direction to adjust the clearance of the high temperature bearing housings [1] .
