What is the ring soil?

Ring soil is a type of electric soil in the form of a partially exposed wire with a heavy gauge, usually made of copper that surrounds a building or other structure in a continuous ring to provide a common base for all electrical systems. The ring soil can also be part of a flash protection system and is used for distraction of electricity from direct lightning strikes on lightning bars, which are connected to the annular ground by a heavy meter of copper wire. This term can also be used to indicate a similar type of earthing device called halo ring soil, which is a ring of wire suspended from the ceiling of the room to serve as a point for ground wires for electrical equipment or equipment.

Earning electrical systems is an important technique to reduce the risk of electric shock or damage due to lightning strikes. The measuring wire number 2 is approximately 0.25 inches (6.54 mm) thick. The wire must be buried at least 2.5 feet (75 cm) under the ground and out of forgiveness to reduce the corrosion.

This type of soil is common around structures such as inCommunication, radio and mobile phones, as well as other structures susceptible to lightning hit. Facilities and other structures with sensitive devices such as computer compositions and data banks are often also protected by ring land. In such structures is sometimes found ring soil Halo, which is associated with a set of outer ground land, usually with a grid or a series of steel or copper bars.
