What is a rotary jack?

Automobile jacks, also known as automatic elevators, are used to raise vehicles from the ground to allow technicians to repair. The term rotary jack concerns a specific stroke brand. This company produces light lifts for increasing standard cars and heavy elevators used to operate large commercial trucks and buses. There are a number of varieties, including scissor lifts, Y-Lifts ™ and several hydraulic versions.

The rotary lifting company was founded in 1925 and produced the world's first hydraulic car elevator. The brand is a subsidiary of the company Doler Corporation. The headquarters of Rotary and the main factory are located in Madison, Indiana.

There are several different types of rotary lifting products. The lightest model in the Rotary assembly is a low -floor scissor elevator. The purpose of this stroke design is to increase passenger cars and light trucks and have an evaluated capacity of £ 10,000 (about 4536 kg). By somethingThe larger version called Y-Lift ™ is rated for £ 12,000 (about £ 5343). These two -point elevators use two contradictory steel columns to increase the vehicle with hydraulics. Hydraulic rollers in the rotary elevator are synchronized by cables. This synchronization prevents one side of the elevator from a faster climb than the other and maintains the level of the vehicle as it is raised. Two -point jacks are available with a capacity between £ 10,000 and £ 18,000 (between about 4536 kg and 8165 kg).

Four -post rotation lifts are designed for heavy commercial vehicles, including half and passenger buses. As with the two-post-version, they use four-pod-ups of hydraulic cylinders that are maintained synchronized by cables. HERCED-TIESTS are available for £ 40,000 and £ 60,000 (about 18144 and 27216 kg) lifting capacity and use drive-on-onplatforms called the runway to hold vehicles as JSou raised. All two-cost and four-post-rolling jack models have mechanical safety locks that are automatically connected. These locks prevent the vehicle from falling on the elevator if the hydraulic energy is lost.

Hist Rotary SmartLift® is designed for small service bays that cannot hold the normal two or four -click lifts. In the SmartLift® Rotary, hydraulic systems are contained in a tape that is safely sealed. This cassette is installed underground. When the lift is used, the hydraulic cylinder vehicle lifts the vehicle from the floor. The mechanical structure of the SmartLift® rotary jack decreases from the path when it is not used. SmartLift® units are available with capacities usually between £ 9,000 and £ 12,000 (about 4082 to 5443 kg).
