What Is a Sand Sieve?

Sand refers to small stones or something shaped like sand. Also refers to imperfections.

To determine the gradation of the sand particles, a screening test must be performed.
Screening tests will show 2 different types of results.
1. Clearly know the cumulative sieve percentage of each sieve.
Second, the fineness modulus.
These two results are obtained by comparing or calculating the cumulative sieve percentage.
For the sieving test, first pass a 9.5mm sieve and take about 500g for testing.
Nested screen 4.75 2.36 1.18 0.6 0.3 0.15 0.075 and screen bottom.
Algorithm of fineness modulus Fineness modulus: M = (A2.36 + A1.18 + A0.6 + A0.3 + A0.15-5A4.75) / (100-A4.75)
Among them, A0.15 and A0.3 ~~~ A4.75 are the cumulative sieving percentages on the corresponding sieves, respectively.
Thus, the fineness modulus can be obtained, and it can be judged whether it is primary sand, or medium sand, fine sand, and medium sand is used on the construction site.
Coarse sand 3.7-3.1 Medium sand 3.0-2.3 Fine sand 2.2-1.7. From this, the sand is judged, then look at the gradation range.
On August 19, 2019, a recent comment published by the British "Nature" magazine stated that the current speed of mining of sand and gravel has exceeded its speed of natural recovery.
It is reported that sand and gravel are already the largest amount of raw materials. About 32 to 50 billion tons of sand is used every year in the world, mainly for the manufacture of cement, glass and electronic products. Although the desert accounts for 20% of the surface area of the earth, the sand in the desert is too smooth to be used. Most of the angular sand suitable for industrial use originates from rivers-it only accounts for less than 1% of the earth's area. [2]
