What is the solenoid core?

The solenoid core is a rod that lies in the center of the solenoid coil and offers several beneficial attributes. If the solenoid core of the iron or any ferromagnetic metal is, it can significantly increase the regular magnetic power of solenoid. Air units are usually made of glass and do not increase magnetic power, but work better at high frequencies. While the core is common in solenoid, it can be removed and solenoid can still work. The solenoid core also helps protect the shape of the solenoid spool and prevents great persecution of the coil.

The most common type of solenoid core is iron or ferromagnetic core. This type of core reacts strongly with magnetic forces and increases normal solenoid magnetic power. Some metals may slightly increase strength, while others may increase the solenoid strength by 100 times. The core and solenoid magnetic domains coincide when the energy is pushed by solenoid, so both react together to create a powerfund magnetic force.

Another type of solenoid core is the air core, which is usually made of glass or plastic. Unlike the iron core, the air core is not able to increase the magnetic force of the solenoid because the glass and plastic do not have magnetic power like iron. At the same time, solenoid with air core works better at high frequencies and can usually reach 1 Gigahertz (GHz) compared to metal core, which can normally reach approximately 100 megahertz (MHz).

Most solenoids have a solenoid core, either to increase the magnetic force or to increase the stability of the coil at high frequencies. If the user wants, the core can easily remove it by moving it from the coil. This is usually done to reduce magnetic force, which is too strong or so that solenoid is less.

solenoid is a firm wire, so it is difficult to bend or damage the coil. At the time if the coil is bent by a strong force orBy hitting, it can destroy the entire device and make it unnecessary. The solenoid core is usually made of hard and durable material, whether it is a glass or iron, and the core is able to further absorb shock. This means that the core usually increases the durability and longevity of solenoid.
