What is a subassembly?
Subassembly is a group of parts assembled together to form part of the finished assembly. The Assembly refers to a group of subassemblies assembled together to create something that performs a specific task. The most common areas where subtest will be used are in electronics, optical and computers. Small household appliances such as microwaves and portable media players have subassemblies. In the microwave there are heating elements, electric stoppers and a real control panel. All three of these areas may contain smaller groups of parts or subassemblies.
The control panel will contain an electronic subassembly. Usually it consists of a printed circuit or PCB board as well as discs emitting light or LED. Part of the electronic subset is also a keyboard that controls the cooking time. These three items are connected together using a soldering iron. The electronic subsection is then joint of heating elements, plugs and a housing for the production of microwaves have electronic devices such as mobile phonesor television, also electronic subassemblies. The display and PCB for a portable media and mobile phone player, albeit much smaller than those in a microwave, work in a similar way. Mobile phones have another radio frequency or RF, components that allow them to pick up the signals of cell towers. The components are then stated with external housing to complete the gadget.
TV combines both electronic subassemblies and optical subassembly in the production process. Electronic PCBS House All "brains" that allow the TV to function, such as channel control and volume control. The optical subsecess manages the display, whether the liquid crystal display, also known as LCD or plasma. Optical subassemblies are also part of cameras, design equipment and theater lighting.
Computers have their own subassemblies unique for their application. In a computed computer, more electronic afterDSESTAV together to create a central processing unit or CPU. CPU is a real part of the computer that operates the machine. It contains memory, processing and sound subassemblies, which are usually made up of several PCBs.
Each PCB can contain hundreds of components connected to PCB using a solder. The PCB is then stated with other PCBs and forms part of the computer responsible for a specific function. Once all production is completed, the PCB is inserted into the housing that makes up a computer.
