What is the thread?

"Threadacker" is a general term that refers to a liquid polymer, which is designed to be brushed on the thread of fasteners such as screws, just before installation. The polymer dries and locks the connecting elements in place and protects the fibers from water, rust and leakage. Threadockers are particularly useful in assembling moving parts, engines, hubby toys and plumbing applications, where, for example, a free seal screw can lead to water damage.
